Tortellini Bake

Rae’s concoction. Easy and yummy! Ingredients: 1 (19 oz) bag of frozen cheese tortellini 1 (28 oz) jar of spaghetti sauce 1 Tbsp sugar 8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms 2 Tbsp olive oil 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Sliced pepperoni Cook tortellini according to directions and drain. Heat oil in skillet on medium-high. Add garlic and saute 1 minute. Add mushrooms, seasoning them as you like (we use salt, pepper, and 1/4 tsp italian seasoning), and saute. Linguine with Fresh Tomatoes

This recipe came from Mom & Dad. It is very tasty with tomatoes fresh from their tomato jungle! 🙂 Ingredients: 8 oz uncooked linguine 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 6 green onions, sliced 1/2 cup grated parmesan 1/4 cup minced fresh basil or 4 tsp dry basil 2 garlic cloves minced/crushed 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 3 Tbsp butter or margarine Cook pasta according to directions on box. Rice Krispie Bars

Contributed by Annette Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs small marshmallows 1 stick of butter 1 small box Kelloggs Rice Krispies In a very large microwave safe bowl, melt butter on high for about 1 minute or until melted. Then add all of the marshmallows. Stir well until the butter coats all marshmallows. Then microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well. Jell-O Cookies

One of Rachel’s favorite cookies. “Warm childhood memories” she claims. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1 (3 oz) box Jell-O 3/4 cup butter 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp salt granulated sugar for rolling Cream butter; add sugar and gelatin gradually. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in sifted dry ingredients; chill. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with the bottom of a glass. Hot Milk Cake

This is a wonderful cake to have with fresh berries! Ingredients: 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 2 1/4 cup flour 2 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/4 cup milk 10 Tbsp butter In mixing bowl, beat eggs at high speed until thick about 5 minutes. Cheese Tarts

Ingredients: 1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup sugar 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 1 cup sugar 1 can pie filling (cherry, blueberry, etc.) Line muffin tins with cupcake liners. Mix first three ingredients (crumbs, sugar, butter) in a bowl and spoon 1-2 heaping teaspoons of the mixture into each muffin cup (you’ll probably have extra).
