Lacy Oatmeal Cookies

This recipe comes from the Mrs. Fields Best Cookie Book Ever, so you know they’re good! They’re not like what you think of when you think “oatmeal cookies”. They’re buttery, chewy, lacy cookies that are VERY addictive. Be careful when you spoon the dough onto a cookie sheet as they tend to flatten out and spread quite a bit. Snicker Peanut Butter Cookies

Contributed by Anita Ingredients: 2 sticks softened butter 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 3 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 pkg Snickers miniatures Combine butter, peanut butter, and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Then mix in flour, salt, and baking soda. Cover and chill 2-3 hours. Divide dough into 1 Tbsp pieces and flatten. Wrap around a Snickers bar and seal. Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

This recipe was donated by Anita. Very tasty if you are one of the lucky few who get one at a Phillips family function. Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 1 cup butter 1 cup sour cream 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 5 cups flour Cream together the sugar and butter, then add the sour cream and blend. Jell-O Cookies

One of Rachel’s favorite cookies. “Warm childhood memories” she claims. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1 (3 oz) box Jell-O 3/4 cup butter 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp salt granulated sugar for rolling Cream butter; add sugar and gelatin gradually. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in sifted dry ingredients; chill. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with the bottom of a glass. Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 cup corn oil 4 1/2 cups flour, divided 1 cup sugar 1 cup powdered sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cream of tartar 1/2 tsp salt Preheat oven to 325℉.
