Pumpkin Ice Cream Dessert

Contributed by Pam Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups gingersnap crumbs 6 Tbsp melted butter 2 tsp vanilla, divided 1 Tbsp sugar 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened 1 can pumpkin 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup Cool Whip Mix together gingersnap crumbs, melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 Tbsp sugar. Press into bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Spread ice cream over crust. Mix together pumpkin, 2/3 cup sugar, salt, cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, and Cool Whip. Spread over ice cream. Freeze. Another tasty treat that Mom used to make for us that Anita still had stashed away! Ingredients: 2/3 cup shortening/butter 2 cups brown sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 12 oz bag chocolate chips Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. In a mixing bowl, combine shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well. Gradually mix in bowl of dry ingredients. Mix in chips. Spread batter into a greased 9 x 13 cake pan. Contributed by Pam Ingredients: 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup sugar 4-5 bananas, sliced (can mix in some berries, if desired) 1 cup oatmeal 1 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter, melted Nutmeg Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray glass bar pan with cooking spray. Mix lemon juice and sugar. Add bananas, toss. Pour and spread in pan. Mix remaining ingredients, except nutmeg, and spread over fruit. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
