Travis and I first met in middle school through mutual friends. Neither of us remember specifically how it happened, but somehow, we ended up with each other’s phone numbers. We “dated” for a few months (aka texted each other), but I wasn’t supposed to have a boyfriend, and Travis was graduating middle school to move to high school, so we decided to break things off.

Flash forward to my sophomore year and Travis’ junior year of high school, I went to a football game with some friends. My friends left around half time, and I decided to stay. Like any high school football student section, it started to get rowdy with people pushing each other. Being the shortest person near me, I kept getting pushed off my row. Travis turned around from his row in front of me and said he had more space and I could come stand by him, which I did. We chatted and caught up the rest of the game, and the rest is history!
