This recipe is easy & cooks pork tenderloin perfectly every time. We found the recipe online somewhere & they called it something like the 7-6-5 Pork Tenderloin method.
Ingredients:
- Pork tenderloin, as many as you need (We buy the Hormel brand that comes in a plastic package with 2 inside. I think they are typically about 1 lbs or a little more)
- Olive oil
- Dry rub, whatever your favorite is
At least 2 hours before cooking:
Put the tenderloins on a platter or sheet pan. Rub with olive oil & sprinkle with dry rub. Refrigerate. Let the platter sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Grill ‘em up:
Turn the grill on high for about 5 minutes. Cook the tenderloins on the first side for 7 minutes without moving & the lid down. Flip them over, cook with the lid down for 6 minutes. Now, Do not lift the lid. Just turn the heat off & cook for another 5 minutes with the heat off.
Let them rest on the cutting board for about 15 minutes before slicing up & digging in.
