Combine and set aside: 2 cups cut up rhubarb 1/2 cup sugar Cream together: 1/2 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups sugar Add to it: 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup sour milk Then add: 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon 2 cups flour Stir in the rhubarb and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
